Moving to a smaller home and downsizing can be an exciting but often overwhelming experience. Downsizing typically involves giving away, selling or getting rid of furniture and other belongings. Oftentimes, lots of items have been accumulated over the years and it is a difficult task, emotionally and physically to go through one’s belongings and make decisions on what to bring to your new home and what to leave behind.

My downsizing service includes:

Packing for a move

Moving is a lot of work. There are many factors to consider, just packing and organizing one’s belongings alone can take a lot of time and energy. While packing, people often declutter and give away many unwanted items. Then there is booking movers, getting ready for the big day, and finally unpacking. 

You may hire me to work on any part or for the entire moving process. I have lots of experience with moving and have helped in and/or organized numerous moves.

Decluttering

Throughout life, for different reasons, stuff may accumulate in our home. Clothes, furniture, books, papers and other items can become a burden, taking over our spaces, stressing us out and keeping us from living the way we want to live.
